About

The Powerbook 5300ce was introduced on the 28th of August 1995 and as the most premium model in the Powerbook 5300 series. It was discontinued after one year, on the 1st of September 1996

Its the only Powerbook 5300 model with a 800x600 active-matrix LCD display, the others in the series have to do with a 640x480 display.

The cheapest model in the series offers only a 4-bit grayscale display, as opposed to the 16-bit color display in this version.
