Psion 3a from 1993 in good condition.
It runs on two AA batteries, both 1.2V and 1.5V are supported although 1.5V is recommended.
The device uses a 1620 3V button cell for when the batteries run out, so the contents of the RAM are not lost. If the button cell is depleted or not inserted, the contents of the RAM memory would reset on loss of power.
Contents stored in flash modules are persistent even without power.
This specific item contains the 512K Flash memory module in its expansion slots for persistent storage.
